Hello, seems that the posting was closed and I couldn't take a look of the requirements, but I saw it was for a senior buyer level. I would say that in general for any buyer position at Alstom, a career in finances, administration or even engineering will help. A good business acumen is needed, being a good negotiator, an influencer, a team player, know how to use stress accordingly (not only "manage it" but use it to your advantage), have a certain amount of resilience and tolerance to frustration, be a good communicator and know your Excel v-lookup formulas (LOL).
