From my point of view, considering what I see and what I experience here, what makes Alstom stand out from the competition is the investment it makes (in this order) in:
- In its intellectual capital, mainly in engineering
- In continuous improvement (lean) in all domains
- REX (return of experience) and Benchmarking
- A tradition of almost 1 century in the transport niche
