How is this company different from your competitors?

When I was applying for jobs a few things that stuck out to me about Alstom when evaluating my choices were: culture, communication, environment, benefits, and competitive pay. One thing I like about Alstom is that they practice what they preach, their core values are Agile, Inclusive, and Responsible (AIR) and it shows. Since day one, I’ve been provided nothing but transparent communication. No waiting weeks, or months for a response like I had experienced when interning, applying, and interviewing at other companies. Alstom’s culture and communication has helped foster what I have witnessed first-hand as an inclusive, empowering, and supportive work environment. Everyone, both collectively and individually, wants you and your department to succeed and don’t mind doing a little extra work in order to operate as One Alstom. This mentality has been very welcoming and invaluable as I am brand new to the company and to the corporate world. It’s no wonder Alstom is typically ranked so highly in most regions around the world.
