Your initiative is very interesting. I recommend all friends or students to look for volunteering experiences in NGOs.
Alstom today does not have this type of link. I want to remember, however, we are a global company and some countries may have different determinations. But as far as I was able to retrieve information, this practice is not common.
I volunteered for many years. To this day, when I manage to balance things, I still volunteer in NGOs with which I identify, generally in the area of education.
