On a typical workday, I arrive at the office, organize my workspace, open my laptop, and check my emails to make sure there are no urgent matters. I take the opportunity to check my schedule for the day and the week.

Then I go get a coffee, greet my coworkers, do some networking, and often have "informal meetings" right there.

I return to the office, respond to emails that require action on my part. I write down the actions and activities that I need to develop based on these emails. I lead or participate in meetings that require my contribution. I do a GEMBA on the production line to assess the maturity of the topics I am following and to see if anyone needs my support.

And so I compose my daily list of routine activities.
