Rail Company Co-op options?

I am in my first year at Ontario Tech, just wondering what the timeline for accessing co-op would be, and what rail companies have had coop students stay on?

Hello! Thanks for your question :) We hire a lot of interns every year, especially during the summer semester. For example, this summer we had about 60 interns across Canada! We also recruit during the fall and winter semesters, so there are plenty of opportunities for students.

Being in the railway specialization definitely gives you an advantage because you already have some industry knowledge, which makes you stand out from other candidates.

As for the timeline, you could start looking for co-op opportunities 2-3 months in advance
